Bisleri Backs Purple Umbrella Festival 2026 to Promote Youth Climate Action

Bisleri International partnered with the Purple Umbrella Festival 2026 in New Delhi, engaging over 1,000 participants through its Bottles for Change initiative, a 2,000-bottle art installation and recycled-plastic exhibits promoting circularity.

Bisleri International partnered with the Purple Umbrella Festival 2026 as its Official Hydration Partner, bringing plastic waste management and recycling into focus for more than 1,000 students and educators at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. Held under the theme “AI & Climate: Reimagining the Future Together,” the festival brought together climate experts, artists and innovators to explore environmental challenges and encourage young people to take action.

The festival forms part of the Purple Umbrella Foundation’s broader mission to empower one million young climate champions. Bisleri’s flagship Bottles for Change initiative played a central role in raising awareness among young participants about responsible plastic waste management, recycling and circularity.

As part of the collaboration, Bisleri introduced a dedicated Greener Promise experience to demonstrate how plastic waste can be recovered, recycled and reimagined as a resource. A key attraction was Wings of Change, an art installation created using 2,000 used PET bottles to illustrate the concept of circularity through creative expression.

The company also showcased its Benches of Dreams, made from recycled plastic, providing participants with a practical example of how discarded materials can be transformed into products for everyday use.

Neeraj Kumar, Founder, Purple Umbrella Foundation, said, “The Purple Umbrella Festival is designed to encourage young people to think creatively about climate challenges and the role they can play in addressing them. Bisleri's participation adds an important dimension to the festival by helping students understand the importance of responsible plastic waste management and recycling through hands-on experiences.”
